New timber windows in South West England

Our fourth, and latest post in this series, today we will take a closer look at the 6 showrooms we currently have in the South West of England. As the largest region of England geographically, it boasts some of the most beautiful landscape our nation has to offer. From the award winning, Sandbank beaches of Poole, to the historic, Roman city of Bath, all the way to Land’s End and Lizard Point; the South West is an idyllic, aspirational area of the country, popular both nation and worldwide.
The Timber Windows service covers the full South West through our network of local showrooms, and below we will take a closer look at each location.
As before, it is worth noting that this post is correct at the time of writing, and so when you read this, whenever that may be, it may be that we have opened an additional showroom(s) in one or more of these areas. So please do visit our showrooms page, where we list every location, and you can find the most convenient for yourself.
Wiltshire – Salisbury
Our first showroom in the region is in the beautiful county of Wiltshire, in the cathedral city of Salisbury. The cathedral, while an incredible structure already, is also home to one of the four original copies of the Magna Carta, proudly on display for visitors to see. The town is known for its historic, mediaeval architecture, while sitting just south of the world famous, Stonehenge, which attracts millions of visitors annually, especially during the Summer and Winter Solstice.
Our Salisbury showroom in the town centre has two entrances, one on Butcher Row, and the other on Market Square; a feature many neighbouring shops and units along this row of buildings also share. The showroom is just down from Costa Coffee on both entrances. Visitors via the Market Square entrance can also visit the wonderful Charter market, which runs on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This long, thin showroom displays an extensive selection from our range of timber windows and doors, and the team there cover a wide area, including the nearby towns of Gillingham and Shaftesbury. For more information about our Salisbury showroom, please visit their showroom page here.
Dorset – Blandford Forum
Moving South West from Salisbury into Dorset takes you to our second showroom in the region, in the market town of Blandford Forum. This beautiful location is famous for its Georgian architecture, which is especially prevalent in the town centre. Blandford sits on the banks of the River Stour, and was famously devastated by a notorious fire in 1731. The town is also famous for its local distillery and brewing culture, and is home to famous brewers, Hall & Woodhouse who run multiple pubs in the South West and beyond.
To the North of town, you will find our showroom on the Sunrise Business Park opposite Millbrooke Healthcare. The showroom sits within a generously sized unit, with an extensive range of our timber windows and doors, as well as a selection of timber alternative and aluminium options. You can find their contact details and opening times here.
Dorset – Bournemouth
On the South Dorset coast, in the beautiful seaside resort town of Bournemouth, sits our second showroom in the county. The town is very popular nationwide; it boasts its own pier, the wonderful, award-winning Sandbank beaches, a vibrant nightlife (in part due to it also being a University town), and is also home to Premier League football team AFC Bournemouth. Annually the town draws in 5 million visitors, attracted by its 7 miles of idyllic beaches.
On the outskirts of Bournemouth, in the neighbouring, affluent town of Poole, you will find our Timber Windows showroom. This is located on the Poole Trade Park, off Innovation Close, in between Tile Giant and Rowley Home Improvements. The team at this showroom have been in the industry for many years and are highly experienced. Together, they also manage our showrooms in Blandford and Salisbury, and thus have been assisting homeowners across Dorset and Wiltshire for many years, helping them find the perfect windows and doors for their property, whether it be a coastal retreat, townhouse, or country cottage. For the Bournemouth showroom’s contact details, please visit their showroom page here.
Bristol – Clifton
Our fourth showroom in the South West of England sits in the beautiful Bristol suburb, Clifton. Known for its world-famous suspension bridge designed by historic British icon, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Clifton is also known as Bristol’s shopping quarter. The suburb boasts a wide array of independent businesses, shops and eateries, making it highly popular amongst those visiting Bristol.
Very near to the suspension bridge, you will find our boutique showroom on The Mall, next door to Clifton Rocks Jewellers, and diagonally opposite a very popular local pub and restaurant, that is also called ‘The Mall’. This showroom and its expert team service the local and wider Somerset areas, and so if you live in Bath, Wells or Weston-Super-Mare or any of the charming villages between them, and are thinking about new windows and doors, please get in touch with a member of the team there today. You can find their full details here.
Devon – Honiton
Working our way into the scenic county of Devon, our first showroom in the area sits in the town of Honiton. This lovely market town is full of charm, with historic links to the English Lace and Pottery industries. It is also known as being the Antiques Hub of the South West, with numerous antique shops and boutiques across the town for visitors to peruse and find a gem!
Our Honiton showroom is located on the Heathpark Industrial Estate, in-between Heathpark Garage and Shoobridge Funeral Services. Ample free parking is available outside and an extensive selection of our timber windows and doors are on display, with local experts on hand. Visit their showroom page here for more information.
Devon – Ivybridge
The final showroom we are covering today sits on the outskirts of Plymouth in South Devon, in the town of Ivybridge. A charming small town, sitting on the southern border of the Dartmoor National Park in the South Hams District, the town is located in a beautiful part of the country, just down the road from Torbay, otherwise known as the English Riviera.
Our showroom in Ivybridge opened its doors at the beginning of 2024, allowing us to serve the people of South Devon and beyond with their home renovation projects. The showroom is just off the A38, near the Endsleigh Garden centre. It is situated on the Willow Court business estate which was completed shortly before we took occupation of the unit. Visitors to the showroom are advised to stop by and pick up a coffee from Owens Organic Coffee on the estate. Their locally sourced coffee and ingredients make for a truly refreshing and tasty experience.
