New timber windows in London

Our latest post in this series, today we will take a closer look at the 6 wonderful showrooms we have across the nation’s capital city, London.
As the largest and most populous city in England (and 5th largest metropolitan economy in the world), it has an estimated population of around 9 million people. London is home to an estimated 1.04 million businesses (as of Oct 2025 per government statistics), and accounts for roughly 22% of the UK’s GDP (over £600bn annually!).
London is also the base of one of the largest financial centres in the world, and is a key hub and destination for international business, finance, and trade; in essence, a powerhouse and key player in both domestic, and global economies. Finance aside, London is one of the largest tourist destinations in the world, with over 20 million visitors annually keen to see some of the world-famous sights such as Buckingham Palace, The British Museum, Westminster Abbey & Big Ben, and the London Eye (to name just a few).
As the nation’s capital, and due to it being the most populous region in the entire country, we have at present 6 showrooms across the city, that serve all of London, plus the wider areas within the M25 corridor. Today, we will take a deeper look into each one, the areas they serve, and give a bit of background about each location.
As before, it is worth noting that this post is correct at the time of writing, and so when you read this, whenever that may be, it may be that we have opened an additional showroom(s) in one or more of these areas. So please do visit our showrooms page, where we list every location, and you can find the most convenient for yourself.
Battersea
The first showroom we will be covering today is in the desirable Southwest London Borough of Battersea. We opened the doors to this showroom at the end of 2023, having relocated from Wimbledon. We cover this and the reasons for the switch in a previous article, which you can read here.
Battersea, for one of many reasons, is known worldwide for its iconic Power Station, a now decommissioned coal-fire power station, built in the 1920s-30s. Following its closure in the 1980s, the building sat abandoned for many years, with numerous proposals from different parties throughout the decades following on plans to redevelop it for different reasons. Eventually, in 2022, the iconic landmark reopened as a leisure venue, shopping mall and home to numerous bars and restaurants.
Beyond the power station, Battersea is famous for its 200 acre park, and being the base of the UK’s largest animal rescue centre, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
Our showroom is situated in the centre of Battersea, on the bustling and popular hub of Northcote Road, near Clapham Junction tube station. Stretching over half a mile, Northcote Road is full of wonderful local shops, cafes and boutique businesses, where its young and diverse demographic have given it the nickname of ‘Nappy Valley’. You can find the showroom at number 133, opposite independent estate agents, Rampton Baseley. Our showroom in Battersea is highly experienced in working with London homeowners and have served the nearby boroughs of Brixton, Streatham, Putney and Wandsworth and beyond for many years. You can find their full details here.

Chiswick
Our second showroom in the area is also our newest, opening its doors to the public in June of this year in the West London borough of Chiswick. Historically, Chiswick was known as Old Chiswick, situated in the now ceremonial county of Middlesex, known for its ties to the fishing and boating industries. Over the years, as the UK and London specifically, grew and grew, Chiswick became a part of the new London Borough of Brentford and Chiswick in the 1930s, before becoming a part of Greater London in the 1960s, following its merging with Hounslow.
Chiswick is a highly desirable borough, situated on the banks of the River Thames, and has, since the race’s inception, been the historic finishing line for the annual boat race between Oxford and Cambridge. Walking through Chiswick, you can get a real taste of our country’s past and how it was shaped architecturally, with numerous historic buildings of Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian origin.
Along the 1.6-mile-long Chiswick High Road, you will find our showroom at number 60, next to local, independent furnishers, Decorexi. Our showroom, trading as Chiswick Sash Windows & Doors is the perfect place to browse our range if you are renovating your London home. Door and window styles on display can be found in homes across Chiswick and beyond, and include example of our bespoke, stained-glass offerings. You can find the full details for the Chiswick showroom here. The team there have worked in Chiswick for many years, in addition to the neighbouring boroughs of Hammersmith, Acton, Fulham and Shepherd’s Bush.

Dulwich
Moving into South London, our third showroom in the capital can be found in the Southwark Borough of Dulwich. Dulwich is known for its village-like atmosphere within the city, and is bustling with charm and history. It is home to numerous public parks, giving visitors and homeowners some peace and serenity away from the busy city life, and is home to the famous Dulwich Picture Gallery, England’s’ oldest public art gallery. Its unique atmosphere and setting within the city make it a popular spot amongst aspiring homeowners, with East Dulwich, Herne Hill and West Dulwich tube stations nearby for commuters.
You can find our showroom on Forest Hill Road, just up from the local Co-op. The team who manages our showroom in Dulwich also look after our showroom in Caterham, which we covered more here. Their presence in both locations allows them to serve homeowners from the surrounding areas and anywhere in between, including Croydon, Orpington and Bromley. You can find the full details for the showroom here.
Enfield
For our Fourth showroom in the city, we travel North to a town on the Hertfordshire border, Enfield. As a market town, with a tube station on the Piccadilly line and sitting in close proximity to the M25, Enfield and its borough Oakwood (where our showroom is situated) is a highly popular spot for commuters and those seeking a taste of Greater London, without being in the city centre.
A fun fact about Enfield is that it was the location of the world’s first ever ATM machine in 1967, and was also the birthplace of national treasure and singer, Adele. A proud market town, Enfield market dates to the 1300s and has been operating continuously ever since. While situated in the North of the capital, Enfield has over 900 hectares of green space, providing visitors and homeowners a natural oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This also makes Enfield popular among golfers, fishers, runners and cyclists alike.
You can find our showroom on Bramley Road, a very short walk away from Oakwood tube station. Our showroom team in Enfield are highly experienced, and have worked with us for many years. If you live in Enfield, or any of the surrounding boroughs including Barnet, Edmonton or North Finchley, stop by today. You can find the full details of the showroom here.

Ruislip
Moving into Northwest London, our fifth showroom in the city can be found within the borough of Hillingdon, in the town of Ruislip. Our showroom in Ruislip opened at around the same time as Enfield, as both locations are managed by the same team (in addition to our showrooms in Amersham, Olney and St Albans). Ruislip, in part, is known for the Ruislip Lido; a former reservoir and now local heritage site and artificial beach on the edge of Ruislip Woods, which gives those living within the city and nearby areas a taste of the seaside, without travelling down to the coast.
The town is very popular due to its green areas and family living options, while providing excellent transport links into Greater London and beyond. The showroom is located on its bustling High Street, near the double mini roundabout. It is sandwiched between two local eateries, Anabella’s and Brown’s Brasserie, giving visitors to the showroom a place to go to mull over the fine choices and decisions about their new windows and doors. You can find the full details for the showroom here.

Teddington
The final stop on our London showroom tour takes us back to the Southwest, into the desirable suburb of Richmond upon Thames, to Teddington. A beautiful and highly desirable part of London, Teddington is situated between Richmond Park and the outstanding Hampton Court Palace. We are proud to have exhibited at numerous RHS flower and garden shows over the years, which on a number of occasions, has been hosted at Hampton Court Palace. The venue and its grounds are truly spectacular, and well worth a visit if you are in the area. Teddington is also home to the National Physical Laboratory, which is famous for being where the ‘bouncing bomb’ was developed during World War Two.
The showroom is easy to find, situated in the centre of Teddington at the top of Broad Street, next door to Teddy Bear Bubble Tea. The showroom team are highly experienced working on homes across Teddington, as well as the neighbouring boroughs of Twickenham, Feltham and Surbiton.
