New timber windows showrooms opened in 2025

2025 was another busy year for us at Timber Windows. In addition to exhibiting at wonderful national shows such as the RHS flower shows, and Goodwood Revival, we opened three new beautiful, boutique showrooms across the country. A number of our existing showrooms were also upgraded at the same time, with new displays, products and graphics, ensuring that we provide the best environment to browse our beautiful range of timber windows and doors.
Let’s take a closer look at the new showrooms we opened last year below.
New showroom locations in 2025
Leicestershire – Market Harborough
Our first new showroom in 2025, opened its doors in the summer, in the beautiful Leicestershire town of Market Harborough. This showroom marked our first location within the county, having served the area for many years, providing local people with a more convenient location to visit and see our range first hand. The town is quintessentially English, where along with its booming traditional market, it boasts numerous, original timber-framed buildings, a thriving arts scene, and is also famous for its sheep and even stilton cheese!
You can find our showroom in the town centre, on Northampton Road, opposite Waterstones and next to premier jewellers, Steffans. For those looking for a sweet treat, the showroom is also neighbour to Emerson and Wests, local bakers and delicatessen (who we couldn’t recommend more!)
The showroom is managed by the same, wonderful team who look after our showrooms in both Lincoln and Stamford. Their knowledge of the local area is unparalleled, having worked in and around Leicestershire for many years, giving you peace of mind that you are speaking to a local expert when you visit.

Tyne and Wear – Gosforth
Our second new showroom of 2025 also marked our first venture into the county of Tyne and Wear, within the desirable suburb of Newcastle, Gosforth. This is our most northerly location to date (by some distance), and allows us to greater serve homeowners within the North of the country. Gosforth is known, in part, as being the original home of national bakers, Greggs. Their first shop opened on Gosforth High Street in 1951, known then as Greggs of Gosforth, by founder John Gregg. Through growth over the years, they then opened their first large-scale bakery on the Gosforth Industrial Estate in 1968.
Baked goods aside, Gosforth is a beautiful suburb of Newcastle, offering a mix of city living, and rural homes, while its High Street is known for its focus on independent businesses and local pubs.
In the centre of town, just off the High Street, on Causey Street, you can find our showroom just down from Katherine’s Florists. An extensive range of our timber windows and doors, including our beautiful sash windows, and bespoke stained-glass offerings are on proud display in this large showroom. You can find their full details here.
The team at Gosforth also look after our showrooms in Knutsford (Cheshire) and Harewood (Yorkshire). Their years of experience working over such a wide distance has given them experience on properties of all styles, size and eras, so you can rest assured they are perfect to advise on your new windows and doors.

Essex – Leigh-on-Sea
Our final new showroom in 2025 opened its doors in November, on the coastal Essex town of Leigh-on-Sea. Sitting on the outskirts of Southend-on-Sea, Leigh is a popular tourist town, partly due to its idyllic coastal location and proximity to Southend. It is full of beautiful, cobbled streets, seaside pubs and eateries, and reputation for independent businesses along its bustling Broadway (which is also where you can find our showroom). The showroom marks our fourth location within Essex, alongside Brentwood, Colchester and Saffron Walden, allowing us to fully service the entire county and East London.
The team who manages our Leigh on Sea showroom also look after our other Essex locations, with many years of experience behind them, especially for coastal properties that are exposed to a saltier climate than locations more inland. You can find the full details for our Leigh-on-Sea showroom here.
Showroom Refurbishments and Additions – 2025
Alongside opening new locations in 2025, we were also busy making improvements and changes to our existing showrooms where needed, ensuring that we are always showing our best selves for our customers. This includes:
- Esher – An opportunity arose in 2025 to move our Esher showroom, to a central location on Esher High Street. The showroom originally was beyond the High Street, past Sandown Racecourse, next door to Majestic Wine Warehouse. The new location has provided a much larger space to display more from our range and is now much easier to access when visiting Esher High Street. The new showroom is next to Michelin Star restaurant, Starling Bistro.
- Lincoln – Our beautiful showroom in Lincoln, situated within a converted barn underwent an extensive renovation. New products throughout were installed, new showroom signage, and new areas for customer seating and office space were created. Combined with the character of the building, this is the perfect environment to explore our range in a warm and welcoming environment.
- Colour Swatch Boards – Across the majority of our showrooms, you can now find a colour swatch board on the wall. Our products are available in a wide range of colours (including colours complementary to those offered by brands such as Farrow & Ball, Fired Earth and Little Greene). Our own palette of colours are now proudly on display, where you can see how the colour looks in person, which is key for helping select the right colour for your home.
- Stained Glass Sample Boards – A newer addition to a handful of showrooms are examples of the various stained-glass colours and finishes that are available. We work closely with our stained-glass partner, whose skill and bespoke nature allow you to create a stained-glass design that is truly unique, and through photographing customer’s products, we have seen a great variety of designs, from deco styles, traditional Victorian patterns, and even stained-glass animals.
What’s to come in 2026?
2026 has already got off to a busy start at Timber Windows. Works are currently underway at two new locations, in Marlborough and Norwich, with showrooms due to open within the first few months of the year. Our new showroom in Norwich will mark our first location in Norfolk. Having covered the area for many years, the new showroom will make it much more convenient for Norfolk locals to see our range first hand. This will also bring us to 55 showrooms nationwide, while we are always proactive in finding new locations for showrooms and areas we can serve.
We will also be exhibiting once more at the beautiful RHS flower and garden shows, following successful shows in 2025. We are proud to exhibit at such wonderful venues and alongside the RHS, as the only windows and doors company at any of their shows. In a change to previous years, this year the flower shows we will be exhibiting at are in Badminton (Gloucestershire), and Sandringham (Norfolk). Future shows will still take place at Hampton Court Palace and Tatton Park, however on either a biennial schedule, or once every three years.
Our Timber Windows show van will also hit the road again in 2026, attending various county and local showrooms across the country. This all-in-one vehicle has one of our sash windows, casement windows and front door built into it, where the van opens up and operates as a mini, mobile showroom in effect. Look out for it on the road or at a show near you.
