Timber Windows in the East of England

The Timber Windows service is delivered by local specialists across the country. We have developed the country’s finest network of window and door showrooms dedicated to the supply and installation of our beautiful range of products.

This post is the first in a series that will take a deeper look into each of our showrooms across the country. These will be divided by sections to give homeowners in those regions all of the information they need about where they can find their local showroom, and see our range of windows and doors for themselves first hand.

We will start with the East of England, which encompasses the counties of Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. As with all posts of this nature, they are correct at the time of writing, as we are very proactively looking into new areas we can serve, and open new showrooms. So, at the time of reading one of these posts, it may be that we have opened an additional showroom(s) in one or more of these areas. Essex – Brentwood

One of three in Essex, our showroom in Brentwood opened at the beginning of 2024 in the town centre, on Ingrave Road. Brentwood is a populous Essex town, known for its close links into London making it a commuter hot spot. It was thrust into the limelight when The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) released. However, while it is known for its bustling high street, popular restaurant scene and vibrant nightlife, the town is surrounded by beautiful country parks, allowing the town and its surrounding areas to offer a bit of everything for everyone.

Our beautiful showroom in Brentwood covers West and South Essex, as well as East London and the showroom is generously sized, displaying a beautiful selection of our timber windows and doors. A large wall montage covering one side of the showroom serves as perfect inspiration as to the options available to you (while this is just a small taste of what we can offer). You can find the showroom at the top of Ingrave Road, near the double mini roundabout, next to Blackstone Kitchens, just around the corner from the war memorial.

Essex – Colchester

Our Colchester showroom sits on Crouch Street, just around the corner from the St Mary’s multi-story car park, making it a convenient and easy location to visit, while also within walking distance to Colchester city centre. Colchester is a city steeped in history, with beautiful architecture and attractions such as Colchester Castle and Colchester Zoo. Its central location makes it perfect for those in Colchester looking for new windows and doors, while the team also service all of the surrounding areas, including small villages to coastal towns such as Clacton, Frinton and Harwich.

Essex – Saffron Walden

Sitting on the Essex and Cambridgeshire border, our Saffron Walden showroom sits in a beautiful, chocolate box style shop. A town with mediaeval roots, Saffron Walden is full of history, and was very recently named as the best place to live in the UK. The town boasts a charming high street, full of independent businesses, and a famous market square known nationwide, with numerous Listed buildings throughout encapsulating the culture and heritage of this beautiful location.

The town is well worth a visit anyway, but especially if you are in the market for new windows and doors, as our showroom displays a wide selection of our range, including our specialist, Listed Buildings range. The team there are highly experienced, having worked in the industry for many years, and are well placed to assist with your home renovation project.

Our three showrooms across Essex are well spread across the county, so even if one of these showrooms are not where you live, the team will be more than happy to help.

While we do not currently have a showroom in Cambridgeshire itself, our Saffron Walden location sits close enough to the county border, that its team has been helping homeowners in both counties since its opening. Suffolk – Bury St Edmunds / Fornham St Martin

One of two showrooms in Suffolk, our first sits on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, in the beautiful village of Fornham St Martin.

Bury St Edmunds is a charming town, home to the UK’s only surviving Regency theatre and proud to boast being Suffolks ‘Foodie’ capital. The hotel in the centre of town, ‘The Angel’, features heavily in the Charles Dicken’s play, The Pickwick Papers, and the author himself stayed at The Angel, leading to the building proudly displaying its own Blue Plaque about the event.

The showroom in Fornham is ideally located on Fornham Business Court. This allows the team to service Bury itself and the vast quantity of beautiful Suffolk villages across the county. So, whether you live in a Bury townhouse or a rural country cottage, and are looking for new windows and doors in Suffolk, the team there can assist.

Suffolk – Woodbridge

Our second Suffolk showroom sits to the east of Ipswich, in the riverside town of Woodbridge. The town lies along the River Deben, and next to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, giving you a taste of the beauty of this county. The town itself has a rich naval history; known for its boatbuilding, rope making, and was even where Sir Francis Drake built his fighting ships.

Our beautiful showroom is around the back of Notcutts Garden Centre, making it a very easy location to both find and park in for visitors. The showroom is full of natural light, with large glazed doors that create an open space, allowing visitors to enjoy both our range of windows and doors, and also the garden centre seamlessly.

The two Suffolk showrooms are managed by the same, experienced team who also cover Norfolk. The above gives you an introduction into the 5 showrooms we currently have across East Anglia and The East of England. As mentioned, we do cover the Cambridgeshire and Norfolk areas as well despite no physical showroom presence at this point in time.
