We invite you to visit our beautiful Timber Windows of Colchester showroom. Although officially awarded city status in 2022 as part of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Colchester takes pride in being Britain’s oldest city, with its origins being dated as far back as the 1st century. Colchester is a city full of character and history, famous for its castle and zoo (one of the best to visit in the country).
The showroom is easy to find, situated on Crouch Street, just off Southway, very near to the city centre, with a multi-story car park nearby making it an easy stop for visitors to the town and locals alike.
A large selection of products from our timber window and door range, are on display for browsing.
Upon entering the showroom, you be greeted by a beautiful example of our Westonbirt style front door, with a toplight. This characterful door is finished in a colour complementary to Farrow & Ball ‘Railings’ externally and ‘Off-White’ internally, with Chrome Plated Samuel Heath ironmongery and ‘Bright Star’ patterned glass; an entrance that would add beauty and kerb appeal to any home.
As you walk through our showroom, you will find multiple examples of our range of engineered timber windows and doors, including an impressive fixed casement window with bespoke, handmade stained glass. With the ability to create any design you choose, or match an original, our stained glass windows and doors can elevate the beauty of your home to a new level.
Alternative door and window styles available to view can complement a multitude of styles and periods including 1930’s properties, Georgian townhouses, Victorian homes, country cottages and everything between. Many options for customisation are also possible including glazing designs, stained glass, and hardware and ironmongery choices, as well as a vast selection of paint colours including those that complement well-known brands such as Farrow & Ball, Fired Earth and Little Greene.
Other products throughout the showroom display our range of entrance doors, French doors, casement windows and sash windows, while we also offer sliding patio doors and bi-fold doors as part of our suite of products.
All products on offer are made to order, to your requirements, and are supplied as standard with energy efficient, performance double glazing. Our dedicated range for listed buildings also includes conservation area friendly single glazing, where local rules require. Customisation options available with our range allow you to style your new timber windows and doors to your property in an authentic way that will both enhance its value and beauty, and also reflect your vision as it’s homeowner.
Our trained and knowledgeable staff are experts in the local areas, and can provide guidance and advice on the options for your home.
