New timber windows in the Cotswolds
Our latest post in this series, today we will take a closer look at the 5 showrooms we currently have in the idyllic, Cotswolds region of England.
The Cotswolds is famous, and popular worldwide, due to its stunning, picturesque settings, rolling hills, distinctive architecture, and historic sites. It is a taste of traditional England, combined with beautiful market towns, stunning villages and popular tourist cities. It is a hotspot for staycations/domestic holidays, and we are proud to serve the full region with our showrooms in the area.
As before, it is worth noting that this post is correct at the time of writing, and so when you read this, whenever that may be, it may be that we have opened an additional showroom(s) in one or more of these areas. Gloucestershire – Cheltenham
We begin in the beautiful, West Gloucestershire town of Cheltenham. Among numerous factors, the town is famous across the globe for The Cheltenham Festival; one of the largest and most lucrative horse racing meets on the calendar, which brings hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts to the town every year.
However, festivals are not limited to just horse racing in Cheltenham. The town is known for hosting numerous music, literature and food festivals annually, which when combined with the horse racing, has given Cheltenham the title of being the ‘Festival Town’ of England. Its beautiful architecture, historic spas, and vibrant nightlife ensure that visitors to the town can enjoy a bit of everything, with plenty on offer to keep one entertained.
You will find our showroom in the Montpellier district of town, on Suffolk Parade. The showroom is next door to the wonderful, independent ‘Suffolk Coffee Shop’, whose delicious blend we highly recommend, when browsing our range of windows and doors. Gloucestershire – Cirencester
Heading south to the vibrant town of Cirencester, you will find our second Timber Windows showroom in Gloucestershire. A vibrant, market town, Cirencester is known as the capital of the Cotswolds, due to its history as once being the second largest town in Roman Britain. Today, its history is proudly on display, as the town boasts numerous historical sites, such as the Church of St. John the Baptist, the Corinium Museum and Cirencester Park.
To the south of town, on the Global Business Park, off Wilkinson Road, you will find our showroom in a generously sized unit, with an extensive range of our timber windows and doors on display. Oxfordshire – Chipping Norton
Moving into the historic county of Oxfordshire, our first showroom we are covering in the area was also the most recently opened from this list; situated in the beautiful market town of Chipping Norton. A charming and popular market town, Chipping Norton sits near the border between Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, with the town within close proximity to both Blenheim Palace, and Diddly Squat Farm Shop, which has only increased the town, and surrounding areas’ popularity in recent years.
The town boasts numerous historic buildings, including Bliss Tweed Mill, while also proudly displaying traditional Cotswold stone architecture throughout the town. Like Cheltenham, it is known for hosting numerous festivals across the year, ensuring entertainment and enlightenment for its visitors across the entire calendar.

Oxfordshire – Henley-on-Thames
Moving South-East to the Oxfordshire/Berkshire border, our second showroom in the county sits within the beautiful, and highly popular market town of Henley-on-Thames. Among numerous attractions, the town is known worldwide for its annual regatta, held on the first weekend of July. Hosting over 400 races and visited by over 300,000 people, the regatta is a must-see for anyone with a keen interest in competitive rowing (or if you fancy a day out in a beautiful market town during the Summer!)
As one of the most beautiful towns in the country, Henley is full of charm and a strong community spirit. Annually, at Christmas, the local council runs both a very popular Christmas market, as well as a local shop window competition with a central theme; encouraging all local businesses to get in the spirit, and enhance the beauty of its already lovely streets, providing joy and fun for its residents.
On Hart Street in the centre of town, you will find our showroom just down the road from the Harris + Hoole Coffee shop and opposite The Catherine Wheel pub, making us hard to miss! You can find further details about the showroom here.
Oxfordshire – Oxford
Our final showroom within Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds area sits within the county town, and cathedral city of Oxford. Known for its world-famous and prestigious university, its historic origins from the 8th century means the city boasts a wide variety of architecture styes spanning different eras and periods of time. Visitors to the city, amongst many other things, can take a walk through England’s past, with numerous historical structures perfect preserved, such as the Clarendon Building, Bridge of Sighs and Sheldonian Theatre, to name a few examples!
In the Marston district of the city, you will find our showroom on the corner of Marston Road and Edgeway Road, diagonally opposite the Milham Ford Park and just up the road from ‘The Up In Arms’, a highly popular pub with the locals. You can find more information about the showroom here.
