Patio Doors
Drawn to the light
The aim for Mrs Kennedy’s Yorkshire home was to maximise the glass area within her kitchen dining extension.
“We previously had French doors with the upper area separated by lots of chunky beams, so whilst the glass area was quite large, we felt improvements could still be made”
Mrs Kennedy explains.
Show Stopping Views to the Garden
Smooth sliding patio doors with a ‘raked’ upper frame section were chosen, all with improved sightlines and glazing areas, and finished in a Light Oak stain; and at almost 4 metres wide they make quite an impression.
Huge areas of glass allow for the feeling of living within the garden.
“It was suggested we might need three doors to cover this area, but Stuart at the Harewood showroom did a great job of designing them to maximise the glass area with two doors, and in turn boost the light.”
“The fitting team did such a good job; they were a real pleasure to have around and couldn’t do enough to make you feel comfortable, much more so than other tradespeople we’ve had in the house.”
“They’ve had such an impact on the house, that we’re now looking at adding more sliding doors to another area of our home.”
“It was quite light before but now the room is flooded with light.”
“We’ve recommended Timber Windows to a neighbour who is also having work completed now.”
