Slim Sash Windows, Flush Casement Windows and Entrance Doors
Warmer, Brighter and Draught Free
Having lived in their early 19th century Warwickshire village farmhouse for ten years, the Markham’s decided it was time to make their home more comfortable year-round.
“We previously had dark brown windows and tried to make the best of these by painting them a grey shade, but it never quite suited the house”
Mr and Mrs Markham describe.
‘Cream’ flush casement windows with simple, cottage style horizontal astragal bars, along with sash windows, now adorn the property, while new front doors are finished in the shade of ‘Porcelain’.
The simple, light colours have helped to restore brightness to this beautifully proportioned home.
Beyond repair
“The old front door used to let in terrible draughts, and the sash windows were beyond repair; they were dangerous really.”
Elegant entrance doors combined with stylish ironmongery, now provide much improved insulation, security and not to mention, a warm welcome.
The owners have noticed a marked change in their homes since the installation,
“the difference is unbelievable, it’s been much warmer and no more draughts.”
“It’s much more in keeping with the house now.”
