Entrance Door and Deco Casement Windows
Retaining the character of a RURAL country cottage
Surrounded by fields and open space, in the Yorkshire countryside, the cottage home of the Boyens family has received a refresh.
The 1914 home previously had smaller window panes and chunkier bars,
“we were advised by the showroom that a more authentic and improved appearance could be achieved with some small tweaks to the design,”
the homeowners comment.
“The old windows would actually let weather in through the frames when closed, so it wasn’t very comfortable.”
French Grey Deco Casement Timber Windows
New Deco casement windows in ‘French Grey’ with finer 18mm glazing bars have been installed, and a Stratfield entrance door offers a similar style to the old door.
“We don’t live in a busy area but didn’t expect such an improvement on noise from outside, in terms of weather and farm vehicles. The insulation and sound proofing are much better.”
“These are really good quality, and the fitting was excellent too.”
