Entrance Doors With Original Stained Glass
Winter Blues
Situated high up in the hills in the north of England, Mrs Parratt had a severe need for new doors on her traditional, stone built property, “we couldn’t live through another winter with the old doors, water would blow in through them; we experience quite extreme conditions in the hills.”
Mrs Parratt took advantage of the ability to merge new with old when choosing her doors, “we had the original stained glass encapsulated into the new door glazing panels” she describes and also made use of the dual colour option, commenting “we chose to have a stained finish internally to match our interior décor, and a painted finish externally.”
