Timber Entrance Door
Replacing the original
Replacing an original door on a property, where it has stood as a feature for a long time, isn’t always an easy decision to take,
“The old door dated to 1912, it had been painted many times but it was warped and had become a safety issue”
Mr and Mrs Everard describe.
Choice, quality and price
“We had various quotes for doors from other companies, but chose Timber Windows as we were happy with the price quoted and the quality of product we viewed – others were extortionate, even those that were just ‘buying off the shelf’. With Timber Windows, we really benefited from the bespoke style of service and being able to customise the door as we wanted.”
Choosing a Timber Kingston door with toplight and sidelight, the homeowners opted for an ‘Urbane Grey’ door and ‘White’ frame with Etched Star glass design and chrome ironmongery.
Grey is the new white
Speaking of their new door and choice of colour, the couple say
“we absolutely love it – we saw the colour in one of your Inspirations magazine – grey is the new white!”
Mr and Mrs Everard took the opportunity to give the front of the house a bit of a makeover,
“We’ve painted our gate to match and have replaced the tiles on the porch floor, replicating the originals, to make sure everything is up to the standard of the new door.”
“We’re very pleased with our lovely new door and we feel much safer, so all our previous worries have gone.”
