Keep it in the family
Part of the same family since the 1930s, The Bramley’s have updated their charming Yorkshire farmhouse.
Owing to the property’s age and status, the changes required were not radical from an aesthetic perspective, more of a light touch and like-for-like replacements in most cases.
The wooden windows and doors had served the home for many decades, although had become less and less efficient in recent years. A few improvements were made to certain areas, yet in the main, the style and design was retained in the new products, with a ‘Cream’ finish externally and ‘White’ internally throughout the whole house.
Peace restored
“We used to have to paint the old windows and doors very regularly, and apart from being a chore, they were just no longer doing their job”
Mr. Bramley explains.
“It’s been very noticeable just how much of an improvement there is indoors once the windows are closed; we no longer hear the cockerel in the yard, the road noise or nearby trainline.”
“The outside noise reduction has been very noticeable…we no longer hear the cockerel in the yard!”
Preserving the look of the home with authentically styled products, while improving the comfort within which the owners live.
