Entrance Door
Transforming the front of the home
The suffering with an old door had reached its end for Mr Canfield. The ageing, single panelled door allowed in a lot of draughts, as described by Mr Canfield
“the oddly shaped letterbox even required a towel to be taped over it in winter, to reduce the rush of cold air.”
Describing her aspirations for a new door, Mr Canfield continues
“I wanted to improve the front door and make an impressive entrance to last for decades. I looked at uPVC doors but really, they weren’t in keeping with the house, and I couldn’t achieve the right look.”
The sensational result comes from an adapted Belbroughton door with both toplights and sidelights, featuring bespoke bar and lead formations.

Boosting kerb appeal with a new timber front door
“I was able to really design the door I wanted, within reason and I am very happy with the outcome.”
“I was keen to have a good choice of options, including being able to get a colour complementary to Farrow & Ball ‘Hague Blue’ to match the interior accents.”
