Flush Casements, Bi-Fold Doors, French Doors and Timber Front Door
“The house had already been fitted with white uPVC windows and doors when we took it over; they were adequate but not very nice, and our builders were sceptical of the need to change them”
Mrs Adams explains.
A NEW ELEGANCE
On former farm land in a village just outside York, the home of Mr & Mrs Adams began life in 2008 as a new build property.
The Adams bought the property in an unfinished state after the original developers went into liquidation.
The homeowners chose flush casements, French doors and Bi-Fold doors in Straw with 36mm cottage style horizontal astragal bars along with single entrance doors in Oxford Clay.
“The symmetry of the windows was important for the appearance of the house; the ones we replaced were a poor design.”
We’re very happy with the windows and doors, especially as this is one part of very few parts of the overall project that ran smoothly”
Mrs Adams comments.
