Sash Windows, Entrance Doors and French Doors
Traditional sash windows, corbel brickwork and stone cills may fool you into thinking this property is an old country house, but it was in fact built at the turn of this century.
Mr and Mrs Best moved to this family home in Yorkshire 2 years ago and struggled to get to grips with the sash windows that were put in at the time of build.
“The old windows were cheap and had been repainted so many times that they were all stuck closed. They were horrible, filthy dirty things that we couldn’t get at to clean properly”
Lovely showroom and helpful team gave us the confidence we needed
“We initially visited the Timber Windows at Harewood showroom with our son when he was looking for windows and decided to return when it was time to do our house. It gave us great confidence to visit a showroom and see the product first hand. The showroom and team were all lovely. Other companies, although they were cheaper, simply couldn’t give us the same confidence and were far less helpful. It was a significant investment that we wanted to get right”
says Mrs Best.
Striking Entrance Door
After a detailed survey, Mr and Mrs Best decided on our Hidden Spring sash windows finished in ‘Straw’, inside and out. The door is a striking colour; a shade complementary to Farrow & Ball ‘Green Blue’ with encapsulated Signature Bloom glass. Samuel Heath Chrome fittings give the finishing touch.
Mrs Best summarises their experience saying
“We’re really pleased with how the house looks, now it’s done. This is our forever home so we’re delighted to have the long product guarantees”
“We’ve been extremely pleased with the aftercare. A couple of minor issues were rectified quickly and efficiently”
