In a popular North Yorkshire town, the remarkable 1850s home of the Swift family has been renovated and revitalised.
“Despite its imposing appearance and prominence, the house is not listed, meaning we were able to opt to replace failing single-glazed windows with double glazing”

The homeowners have been meticulous in their quest to restore the property, ensuring the windows had the right features. At a point in time, the arched tops to the sash window openings had been filled, these were revealed, and the windows designed specially to suit the original design intention.
