Enhancing a Lifelong home
Having been in the family since 1937, this Norfolk farmhouse needed a facelift; “the original timber sash windows were replaced with aluminium windows in the 1970’s, I always hated them” says Mrs Bidewell.
“I started out just looking for a new door for the back of the house via an online search, and compiled a list of companies to visit as potential suppliers.”
Quality Products on Display in the Showroom
Visiting Timber Windows of Fornham gave Mrs Bidewell further ideas, “I was going to phase the replacements throughout the house starting with the door but decided to do it all in one go, and once I’d been to the Fornham showroom, nothing quite compared to the quality of the products.”
Timber flush casement and slim sash windows were selected in Off White along with a timber Belbroughton entrance door and stable door in Tent Grey.
“The fitting team did a very good job and were very tidy; I felt safe leaving them in the house.”
Improving the House by Adding Timber Windows and Doors
“This has been my contribution to the preservation of the house; it’s a great improvement now to have put good timber windows and doors in, and give it the appearance I knew it should always have had.”
