Sash Windows and French Doors
Returning to Timber in a Conservation Area
Situated on a leafy North London street, this terraced 1890’s house has been born-again.
The homeowner, Mr Masters was keen to put things right,
“our house had aluminium windows, fitted in the 1960’s; they were quite unsightly and thankfully you wouldn’t be able to do that now, as it’s a conservation area.”
“I sent my local conservation officers a link to the Timber Windows website in order to satisfy any questions they may have – they were very content that the house was being restored and had no objections at all.”
Elegant Style with Superior Insulation
Mr Masters opted for elegant slim box sash windows all round, along with a bespoke set of French doors with top and sidelights, all finished in White and manufactured in Engineered European Redwood.
“The overall appearance of the house and the windows looks much nicer. It also feels better insulated and we have no draughts so I’m very happy.”
