Flush Casement Windows and Patio Doors
Mr & Mrs Colin’s idyllic harbour side property gave them the beautiful setting but the house needed to be brought up to standard.
Ongoing renovation project
“The house was once a bed & breakfast, and the previous owners had not changed it. We decided to make it our own and it has become an ongoing renovation project”
Mr & Mrs Colin explained.
Practical yet elegant
Mr Colin wanted to install a large set of sliding patio doors across the back of the house, and whilst Mrs Colin wasn’t sure how necessary this was at first, is now happy that they did,
“I’m impressed with how they have opened up the house, and the light floods in, I’m thrilled with how practical they are.”
“The patio doors have proved to be very well suited to the room as an ideally practical solution, as well as being very elegant looking”
Mrs Colin continues.
The front of the house has flush casement windows in Off-White featuring 27mm astragal glazing bars in a T-bar design, whilst the patio doors to the rear are finished in ‘Porcelain’ with brushed metal handles.
Local business
“Having visited lots of home shows and exhibitions, we’d spoken to many potential window and door suppliers but we chose Timber Windows of Horndean as they were a local business, and from meeting the team in the showroom, we felt we could work very well together to meet our requirements.”
