Renovation of 1800s townhouse
This charming 1860s townhouse in an Essex city, is home to Mr Eldridge.

The presence of a nearby showroom and approachable team were key factors for the homeowner,

Like for Like replacement windows and doors
Mr Eldridge selected a Chadlington design front door, in a shade complementary to Farrow & Ball “Treron” with a White frame, further complemented by Polished Stainless-Steel hardware. Two slim sash windows, with cords and weights mechanisms, in White, adorn the front of the house, along with a cottage casement window to the upper floor.
“The original windows were replaced with exactly the same style and type – their suitability was spot on from the original design of the house, so there was no need to meddle with this.”
Along with various other works to the house, having the correct new windows and door to the front were key to the owner’s plans for boosting kerb appeal.

Slim sash windows in “White” with traditional horns to upper and lower sashes, 18mm astragal bars, and hung on a cords and weights mechanism.
