Slim Sash Windows and Entrance Door
Replacing single glazed sash windows for Essex Cottage
In a picturesque Essex village, this equally attractive cottage is home to Mrs Banbridge, now sporting conservation-friendly new windows and doors.
Replacing old, single-glazed windows, the style has been preserved exactly.
“The old windows were very draughty, would become stuck in the cold months and caused me physical pain to try to open them”
Mrs Banbridge comments.
Traditionally styled timber sash windows and front door
Slim sash windows in ‘White’ and a Frenchay front door in ‘French Grey’ have been newly installed. The door is complemented by Bronze ironmongery from Samuel Heath.
The style of the door was changed to have more glass compared to its predecessor, allowing more natural light into the hallway.
“The new front door really is beautiful”
“Tim handled my enquiry and order at the showroom, he wasn’t pushy at all, never pressurised me and was always on hand to answer any questions. I was delighted to deal with someone like Tim and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from him again.”
Frenchay entrance door finished in ‘French Grey’, featuring Bevel leaded glass design and a Bronze Doctor’s knocker, Extended Contour handle and Medium sized letter plate from Samuel Heath. Manufactured in Engineered European Redwood.

“Not a stereotypical window salesman…and just gave me great advice at every stage”
“I truly believe I now have the nicest door in the whole parish!”
