BoostING kerb appeal with a new front door
The terraced home of the Atkins family, on an appealing London street has received the ultimate boost to its outward appearance, thanks to a magnificent new door from Timber Windows.
“I was looking at potential companies to provide a replacement door, even before we’d exchanged on the house”
Mrs Atkins explains, such was her enthusiasm to replace the old PVC door, as soon as they moved in.
“I took inspiration from glass designs all over London, and had been collating them. I then planned long and hard on designing my own glass in conjunction with Timber Windows.”
Bespoke, stained glass design
The stunning Kingston door with toplight has been finished in a shade complementary to Farrow & Ball “Eating Room Red” with Aged Brass hardware and bespoke, hand-crafted stained glass.
“We focussed on getting the outside of the house looking its best.”
Whilst Mrs Atkins didn’t visit a showroom in person, she had a positive experience in choosing her door,
“everyone I dealt with was great, the whole way through the process, and the outcome has been truly transformative.”
