Hampshire
Cottage Casement Windows and Entrance Door
Natural Selection
It may be hard to believe that this handsome Hampshire cottage, was, until the 1960s, a railway station.
Now home to the Salisbury family, they elaborate on its former life,
“as a station it was regularly used by the rich and famous of the time, traveling from London to visit the nearby manor house, that is now a National Trust property.”
Having lived in the cottage for 12 years, the family are gradually working through ongoing renovations, tackling work in order of priority.
Traditionally styled windows and front door
“The front windows were most rotten, and have been replaced like-for-like.”
A selection of Cottage Casements from our range were chosen, these having a slim profile for a good match to those being replaced. Additionally, a Westonbirt design door was selected, with Aged Bronze hardware. All items are finished in a shade complementary to Farrow & Ball “Parma Gray”.
