In the town of Burton-on-Trent, Mr & Mrs Murphy’s impressive and striking detached home sits within a conservation area.

Conservation Area
It’s conservation status meant that there were criteria to comply with, “the quality and finish of the windows was important, hence we looked for a reputable company.”

A number of sash windows, flush casements and French doors were all specified in ‘White’ with a range of astragal bar styles and sizes to suit the setting and original specifications.
Rawlinson entrance door finished in 'Fortnum' with door knocker sourced separately by customer. Accompanying flush casement window finished in 'White' with 18mm astragal glazing bars. Manufactured in Engineered European Redwood.
Bespoke Entrance Door
The front door is a beautiful Chadlington design with bespoke arched astragal bars, finished in a classic and elegant green shade known as ‘Fortnum’ combined with a ‘White’ frame and set off with black ironmongery. The rear entrance door is the Rawlinson design in a colourway to match the front door.
“The final finish of the windows and doors is very special, including all the bespoke carpentry around them. Noise reduction is significant, and heat loss has been hugely reduced. They look superb!”
