A new leaf
From passing admirers, the Oglesby family are now the proud owners of this former vicarage in a Yorkshire village; a property they’d dreamed of every time they drove past.
“When it came onto the market, we didn’t hesitate to offer, and were successful. It was a little run down and has been a much bigger project than we anticipated”
Mrs Oglesby explains.
“We knew we would have to change the windows and doors; they were rotting, draughty and single glazed.”
Beautiful and traditional timber windows and doors
A selection of slim sash, casement and fixed windows in a colour complementary to Farrow & Ball “String” were specified, along with entrance doors finished in “Anthracite.”
“We have been extremely happy with the windows and doors; they are very much in keeping with the style and age of the house (1849).”
Summarising her feelings and experience, Mrs Oglesby comments,
“we have been happy with the detailed service throughout, and while Timber Windows may not be the cheapest, you cannot beat their quality and craftsmanship.”
